A native of Hungtington, West Virginia, Dr. Fleckenstein is a 1992 graduate of Xavier University. He received his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from West Virginia University School of Dentistry in 1996 and served the next 10 years as a dentist in the United States Army. He completed an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency in 1997 and earned his certificate in Periodontics from the United States Army Periodontic Residency in 2003. In the summer of 2007, Kurt decided to return to his hometown to be closer to family and to serve the dental community that his father, Dr. Leo Fleckenstein, has proudly served for over 40 years.
Dr. Fleckenstein is board certified, becoming a Dipomate of the American Board of Periodontology in 2003. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the American Academy of Periodontology. He served as President of the Huntington Dental Society in 2010. Kurt is a published author in the field of periodontics, and has lectured extensively.
Kurt resides in Huntington, WV with his wife Susan, and their three children: Adam, Ethan, and Emma. In addition to staying busy with hectic sports and school schedules, the family enjoys a variety of outdoor activities, to include golfing, skiing and hiking.

Angela Booth – Patient Care Coordinator
Angela Booth joined our office in November 2009. She was born in Huntington, West Virginia and has lived in the Tri-State area all of her life. Angela graduated from Ceredo-Kenova High School and received her Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing from Marshall University. She has an extensive background in banking and retail management.
Angela resides in Kenova with her husband Reece and two children, Trey & Gabrielle. Away from the office, she enjoys gardening, shopping and spending time with her family.
Beth Carney –Dental Assistant
Beth joined in the practice during the summer of 2008, but has been working in the field of dentistry since 1995. She was born and raised in Barboursville, WV. After high school, Beth attended Marshall University, earning an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science, and Bachelor’s Degree in Health Care Administration.
Beth resides in Barboursville with her husband Jason, and their son Matthew. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with her family, cooking, and golfing.
Tiffany Clark – Registered Dental Hygienist
Tiffany joined our team as a Dental Assistant in 2007. Tiffany is a native of Bakersfield, California and a graduate of Bakersfield Adventist Academy as well as Alan Hancock College in Santa Maria, California. While with us, she earned her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene from Shawnee State University and has been a Dental Hygienist since 2010.
Tiffany is a member of the American Dental Hygienists Association and an active member of the Junior League of Huntington. She currently lives in Proctorville, Ohio with her husband Derek and their son Braxton. Outside of the office, Tiffany enjoys spending time with her baby boy and husband, going to Marshall sporting events, and traveling
Susan Fleckenstein – Office Coordinator
Susan Fleckenstein is also a native of Huntington, WV. She is a 1995 graduate of West Virginia University, where she received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration in Accounting. Susan is a third generation accountant, with both her grandfather, William (Bill) Richardson, and her father, Mark Richardson, serving as partners in Sommerville and Co.
Outside of the office, Susan stays busy managing the Fleckenstein household. When she is able to find some free time, she enjoys playing tennis, golfing, and skiing.
